WORDS FROM THE PRESIDENT
FOR THE MONTH OF MAY
I miss you Mommy; I miss everything about you. I miss your smile, your laugh, your smell, your stories about you and daddy, your warm hugs, your kisses, I can go on and on, I miss everything about you. I miss you in my every single moment, but your love will always be with me.
I know you never wanted to leave us, but now I know that maybe this was just the way things were supposed to be. You always said to me that everything happens for a reason, and the reason for you leaving is becoming more and more apparent to me every single day. I am honored to carry on your legacy to provide loving support, advocacy, resources, and knowledge to enhance the quality of life for Persons with Parkinson's (PwP, families, and caregivers impacted by Parkinson's Disease).
Not a single day goes by without thinking of you. You are a constant thought in my mind, and you will always be the shining star of my life that lights my path always, even in the dark. I wish we able to be together on Mother’s Day. Please know I’m thinking of you on your birthday, and every day I look at daddy and the rest of the family, and I am truly so thankful and blessed— you made that happen. You were always there for us, supporting us and loving us. The sweetest memories that you have left me with are the only solace for me…. Your absence has left me with a void and only these memories help me survive. I am sending my warm Mother’s Day wishes to you in heaven….. I wish that whenever, wherever you are, you are always happy and smiling. You will always be my emotional strength. You will always be the reason for my success.
Mommy, Happy Birthday and Happy Mother's day. I miss you beyond words, I love you and you will always live in my heart!!!
Yours, loving daughter Paula
